The chess setup is the starting point of every chess game and consists of 32 pieces placed in a specific order on the chessboard. Here is a detailed guide to the chess setup:

1.) The first row (from left to right) is occupied by the rooks, knights, bishops, queen, king, bishops, knights and rooks.

2.) The second row is completely occupied by pawns.

3.) Make sure the pieces are placed symmetrically, with the white queen on a white square and the black queen on a black square.
